Hosting:

We will require you to provide your own hosting account.  Normally, when you move from one hosting account to another, this could involve your web site going down for a few hours, or you risk losing e-mails during the transfer process (.com domains may take up to 7 days!).  By having your own hosting account, you will never need to make provision for this, as you will always have control over your domain and e-mail addresses.  If and when you would like to move to a different design agency, all that will change is your back end files for the web site.  You will also side step the sometimes exorbitant hosting fees charged within the industry.  We recommend the 1 and 1 Starter Package, that has access to a mySQL database which is needed for your Zen Cart™ store.  The hosting is as little as £ 35.86 per year including VAT.

Domain:

You can register a .co.uk domain for £ 2.99 plus VAT, payable for 2 years in advance.  .com is more expensive ( £ 9.99 per year plus VAT), or .eu domains (£ 9.99 per year plus VAT).  Please check with your hosting company for current prices and special offers.

Plugins and Add ons:

Most of the plugins and add ons for Zen Cart™ are provided for free from the Zen Cart™ web site.  Normally, we only charge £ 25.00 per installation, it is up to you to decide what additional functionality you would like to have on your site, allowing you to control your budget.  You are also free to come back at any point to add additional features to your site even if your site has been live for a few months.  Where you require additional functionality where only commercial modules will fit the purpose, we will advise of the cost.
