Step 1 - 1 Day
- We register your domain name and e-mail addresses.
- You supply your keywords and we create your Meta Tags for the Search engines.
- We register your domain with a holding page with the Search Engines and Web Crawlers (Directories of all web sites created).
- We will create a shadow site where you can view the development of your new site on a daily basis.
Step 2 - 4 Days
- We start with the design of your Home and Contact pages. You can either supply examples of sites you like or we can start from scratch. We usually supply a proposed design within 2 – 3 days, and you then have the opportunity to change colours / pictures / text. This part must be completed and approved by you before we move onto the next step.
- You will be required to supply the text you would like to have on your Home Page within this period.
- We use www.dreamstime.com for all our pictures as these are royalty free, we can select pictures or you can advise which ones to use. Up to a maximum of 10 pictures can be used, however very seldom do we use these many pictures in any web design.
Step 2 - 5 Days
- We will commence work on your additional pages. It would be useful if you get the information ready as soon as possible, but preferably no later than 2 days after we started with this step.
- If you have any specific detail that you would like to include, you can e-mail this to us on enquiries@digi-blue.co.uk.
Once we have created your site, and have received your approval on the design, we will require the balance of the payment and when received, we will publish your site to the main domain address. Your site will be created to be compatible with all web browsers, which included Internet Explorer, Apple Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome.
Once your site is completed, we offer free updates on the site for the first 24 months. These changes include any text or picture changes which cannot exceed 20% of the total content of the site excluding the actual site design.
We also have software in place that will monitor your site 24 hours a day, and in the event of your site going down, we will be informed immediately. Our own web site is hosted on the same server as you site, so if your site goes down, our site goes down, so immediate action will be taken.
Your site will be hosted for free for the first 24 months on our server, in the 3rd year all you will have to pay is a hosting fee. This year the hosting fee for our existing customers was charged at £ 4.50 per month. We always try and keep this cost as low as possible. The more sites we build, the more we can control any increases in price as we will have more people paying for the same thing.
